Has anyone out there replaced the factory a/c condenser? This is for a '72 318 Dart. The rest of what I need should be available.
I have the correct freon.
What supplier did you get the condenser from and did it fit?

Update, Cooler Classics off ebay. Got the condenser, it fits!
Thank you Mike69cuda .

I put a "universal" aluminum condenser in my 1965 Newport. They come in many different dimension (ebay ~$50 most) and have today's common O-ring fittings (#8 and #6 I recall). I put a new aluminum one for a Honda Civic in my 1964 Valiant. An ebay liquidator real-cheap (recall $25), but it was a pain finding matching "peanut" fittings. My 1996 Voyager and 2002 T&C use them, but they come in many forms and sizes, so not universal like O-ring, and can't buy just the fittings, so had to find assembled hoses which "should fit" on ebay, plus a junkyard hose I stole the fitting off. I have the Master-Cool ferrule crimper, so making new hoses is easy if I have the fittings. Often cheapest isn't easiest, nor turn out cheapest in the big picture.

Yeah, the condenser I got, and it fit, was alot more than $50, but I am happy. There's always a trade off somewhere. We do what we can.

FEI (For Everybody's Information), to the best of my knowledge, Classic Auto Air sells AC parts in addition to whole kits.
