:read2:Hello all. Hope everyone is good. I have a few questions and they to most will sound easy....First Im in Ontario canada...do you need shoulder belts to pass a safety? 2/ Do the headliner bows sit in plastic clips above the side windows? Do the bows slide through material of the headliner? 3/ Can you use regular carpet underpad in your car? Have lots left over from remodeling the house 4/ vents on the upper dash,,,,,Is there like plastic tubing that attaches to the main blower/heater box? PLease remember my car was dismantled alot inside......Thanks for any help......

What year car? I would think shoulder harnesses wouldn't be required unless they were required by law when the car was manufactured.

Not sure on all years but on my early A Body I think the headliner bows sit in metal notches along the sides of the car & yes, they slide through loops stitched into the material of the headliner.

Some people use regular carpet pading under automotive carpet. I've found it to be a bit too thick for my taste but it works.

There is a corrugated flexible tube that connects the vents to the outlets on the heater box.

On some cars the headliner bows go in a specific order. If yours are just loose in the car you might have to play around a bit to figure out which one goes where.
