340 is out of it now its getting a stroked 360 here really soon. Just waiting untill i can afford a cam and lifters. It has an A body 8 3/4 under it with 3.91 sure grip.

I know the sure grips on both look alike and are designed similiar but their not exactly alike if you look in the exploded part diagram. I ain't saying they won't but it would surprise me if they would interchange.

I've heard something about this but it's been too long. I am very interested in what you find out. Anyone have a 44 we can measure? If you look up the carrier bearings it should give us a clue.

Doesn't the Dana use a 9-3/4" ring gear? If so it ain't gonna work.

A Dana 60 uses a 9.75" ring gear. A Dana 44 uses a, 8.5" ring gear.
