Guys, just noticed my carb is leaking fromt he circled area in the picture. Has anyone got an idea why it would leak from that area and if a rebuild kit would solve it??

That is the throttle plate shaft. It should be very hard to fuel to leak out there as there is more pressure to pull the fuel into the cylinders than there is to pull the fuel out to the atmosphere. The top of the carb looks wet, so I would say a kit MIGHT cure your problem.

That is where the sgaft for the butterflys are. It can be rebuilt , but unless your into a possible machineing work to bush the shaft.......
Do you know a decent shop? A rebuilt or new one should also be searched out.

Clean the entire carb, spray it down and hose it off and re-check it for where it might be leaking. Good point Jim.

Hmmmmmm the Floats are sticking in the carb atm so ive ordered a rebuild kit for it. It seems the carb is the main problem i have with fueling!!

I dont know of a good machining shop to re bush the shaft!! Damn!!
