I used to have a big goatee and long black hair (7 years ago). Man did I get alot of un-necessary treatment from the police and those nerds in the airport security. Of course out in califormya the TSA is mostly punks. I got "secondary screening" 50 % of the time.
I cleaned up my look and, hell when I get pulled over, a polite conversation and a warning is all I get. No issues with TSA.
