A whole new way to shoplift

Guy calls a store, claims he has a bunch of Ensure that belonged to his mother who had died, he would like to return the stuff but had no receipt.

"OK"

So he went to the store, got an EMPTY shopping cart, went and took the Ensure off the shelf!!! -- and then returned it for a refund!!!

not all that new
I musta been 11 or 12 when I climbed the fence at my local grocers to haul off with several crates of empty 2 liters
I then returned to the store with the empties to get the deposit back and turn that into chocolate

by the time I was on my second or third bottle the manager was tapping on my shoulder, requesting a word


needles to say i never did that again
