a833 isssue?

Has anyone run into a problem like the one I have?

More so on cold mornings, but sometimes warm also, my speedometer begins to roar as I pick up speed. It can get pretty noisy and the accuracy of the speedometer goes nuts.

I've heard it could be a problem in the A833 four speed.

Any knowledge would be appreciated. thanks

Either the speedometer cable or the speedometer itself is bad.

I have had that happen in the past with Furds, Chebbies and Mopes. It happens when the lubricant gets cold for some reason. (it gets down to -30F where I live.) I could usually clean up and lube with graphite to eliminate the problem
