A904 small block trans all the same from a-body e-body b-body etc?

Hello, was wondering are all A904 small block trans all the same from a-body e-body b-body etc? Or are all the tail shafts different lengths and the main bodies are the same?

Yes. All car transmissions are the same length.

I've seen short tailshafts on some 727 truck applications. Don't recall if I ever saw any short truck 904's.
