I've searched here and can't find anthing, now that I have the power steering delete idler pulley sorted out, which belt do I use on the car 6.1 engine to bypass the AC compressor?

i got mine at advance auto..the # on the belt 6pk1970 and 775k6 i have no clue what it is for, but it fits perfect

I just found out the AC delete pulley is unnecessary for a car front cover. I picked up an 80" long 6 rib belt and it fits perfect. Tension-er is right on the mark on the tight side. Stock belt routing is used, and without the compresser mounted there is even more belt wrap on the crank and PS pulleys.

Yes, you can just remove the AC compressor and run a shorter belt, that's why I was asking for the belt number, we pay about $60 for them in Oz so would like to just chuck one in my next US parts order, just means I won't be able to exchange it if it doesn't fit.

You can also get close by using a string and routing it how you want, then measure how long it is. I did it that way on my 5.7 setup with a homemade idler pulley. Have to make sure they string you use doesn't have any stretch though, I think that's what threw me off a tad.

Well then, now that I am in the garage here is the part number and a few pics.
