Hello, tried the search method and couldn't find a conclusive answer. Has anybody been able to run factory AC and PS with a 440? Was looking at the Schumacher headers and mounts. He says it may interfere, but would for sure need factory valve covers.

Thanks in advance.

Haven't tried it with a 440, but I have with a 383. The important clearances for both are really the same with the 440 giving a little MORE room for power steering in part of that area.

Looks real nice, Mr Lusk. No surprise coming from you, sir.

I actually had an easy time of it with that Barracuda. The 383 came out of my old 69 Polara wagon (factory AC and PS). I had put a rebuilt PS box in the Polara (large sector) and I had 73-76 center link for the steering. The Barracuda was a factory 273/AC car so it just a matter of mixing/matching the parts.
