Not sure, but I think that is a pedal from a later Mopar, since 65 A V-8's have a plate that uses the tapped holes in the "horseshoe" bracket on the firewall (as I recall mine). 4 bbl requires a longer cable than 2 bbl.
 
i agree i thought there was a difference between the slant 6 and v8 throttle cable in length,, LOKAR has universal cables that you cut to lenght,, im not sure if bushlion does not not
 
Slant in a 65 was not a cable unless it had A/C. It was that rod contraption. And that cable was longer than the v8 4bbl.

What you got should work iirc as it looks longer than my oem commando cable
