Wasn’t quite sure. But I myself do a lot of side work to support my toys. Been screwed over a few times. So I have a policy now money for materials up front wages as follows pay day is Friday you square with me on Friday or I’ll be there Saturday to pick up my equipment and show me the queen
Ya don’t take no shit from customers get materials up front and progress in between. It’s a lot harder to get your money after the fact. My brick work is on people’s house’s so it’s a little difficult to strip and sell. But have pulled into driveway with 4 guys dead beat customer came out. I said ok boys take er down, I know legally I can’t do that but by the time anyone gets there to stop me 80% will be on ground. Easier to ask forgiveness than permission. And if customer won’t agree to those terms he was probably going to stiff you anyway.
