Adjusting Mancini Racing Kickdown Cable/Hardware Kit

Does anyone here have experience adjusting the Mancini Racing kickdown Cable? (MRE - Kickdown Cable/Hardware Kit)

Most videos on youtube are for the Lokar type kickdown cables.

My car shifts fine at lower speeds but doesn't want to shift past 40-50 mph. It feels like I'm towing an anchor.

I followed this video, but it doesn't seem to have much detail in adjusting.

That's the Bouchillon Performance 3350 kickdown kit, resold by Mancini.

Final adjustment is just like in the factory service manual, except with a cable.
With the carb wide open, adjust the cable so the trans throttle lever is at the end of it's throw.

My engine builder/mechanic/friend used Lokar throttle & "kickdown" cables on my 318 (323) A904 in the Jaundiced GT (my '71 Dart GT).
