was and still running an Holley black electrique pump
for maybe the last 12 to 15 years

never hade really a big problem with them with exception of a burn pump
when the engine was idling for a long time

now Im getting old and Im tired oof earing it

what I run or have so far is

half inch tank sending unit
5)8 braided line with a same size BG filter
dual dead end Holley regulator
one for the carbs the other for the nitrous plate 150 shot

the engine is a 408 w2 race heads and big roller cam
next winther will be with Indy heads

what do you suggest for electrical pump

thanks Bob

The bigger of the 2 gearator type pumps from holley should supply plenty and they are quiet.

Rail mounted inline pump from a newer Ford pickup. They are Walbro "in tank" style but are exterior mounted. Plenty of volume, must use bypass regulator somewhere in the system. These are the pumps supplied with the Edlebrock (and others) EFI retrofit kits if you choose not to use an in tank unit. Mount them in their foam insulator sock and you can barely hear them. Mercedes used them outside the tank too.

GSL392 Fuel pumps - Walbro gsl392

a couple of these is what I use
