I need to change my fuel line from 3/8 to 1/2" .

What is the thread type of the brass fuel bowl fitting on an AFB carb?

Id like to know the top plate thread that accepts the fuel bowl fitting.

The threads are 5/8-20. It is best to go with a steel braided line which would be a No. 8 AN. The part number for a No. 6, 5/16 is RUS-640273 in the Summit catalog. I have never seen larger adapters for these carbs but if they exist, the tech guy at Summit can help you quickly. I have always found
No. 6 to be very efficient with these carbs using a 3/8 line into the inlet side of the fuel pump. AFBs and Edelbrocks do not like fuel pressure over 5-lbs. It tends to over power the needle and seat and fuel will weep out the boosters at idle causing it to run like poop. Hope this helps.

I do beileve it is 5/8 X 20 as listed here on Edelbrock.com ; http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_new/mc/install_items/general.shtml

They also show a 6AN fitting. I know it's to small, 8 AN is 1/2 inch. There is a dual feed set up for these carbs. You'll have to drill and tap the drivers side of the carb to use this item. I'm not sure if it is what you seek or good enuff for your use.
