Aftermarket Fuel Tanks

I am in need of a new fuel tank for my 72 dart, and rock auto has the best price that I have found. It is a spectra premium tank. Has anyone used one of these, and how is the quality of them?

I read on this thread that the new locking rings - made in china or something , always leak and should reuse the old ones. Was wondering if anyone knew if the one supplied with spectra premium tank were as good as the oem ?

Why risk it, get a tank with nothing below fuel level and never worry about it again....is your mopar worth a few extra bucks of what I consider very cheap insurance?

Put one on my 72 maybe 5 years ago and have been quite satisfied.
Except the original was of steel made at USS plant in Gary, In, where most of my family worked, in a place where I once worked. On the inside, with a flashlight, you could see USS Gary Indiana Galvnizing Line #6. Too bad I had to give that up.
