Aftermarket Temp Gauge

Where do you all install the probe from a aftermarket temp gauge?On my 360,I see 2 plugs but they look too small for the probe to fit,same thing where the factory temp gauge plugs into.

What does the temp guage use, a screw in sending unit?
I put mine in the intake. I had to use a threaded adapter.

yes,its a screw in type.I never thought about the intake,lol.Im going to keep the stock gauge plug but the I want a more accurate gauge. thanks!

You might have to use a couple different adapters(for prob depth)I know I had too.Good luck

You need a 1/2" NPT to 1/4" NPT bushing....available at Home Depot
