It started as notification of aution. Is aution allowed in the FOR SALE column? Regardless where it's viewed, its just an argument that may run longer than the auction. I see virtual
NO SWIMMING . Ain't about to jump in.
Good morning BTW

i (We) hate sale threads like these. Absolutely despise them. They don't fit neatly into the sale rule box.

It's all a bunch of fluff and this one will be more of a waste of time then that one is...At least that one is trying to accomplish moving a rare vintage A body to a new home. Hasn't everyone finally realized that salesmen sold cars outside of what options were "available," fender tags are sometimes wrong, and not all plant managers adhered to what we think is true 50 years after the fact...hey maybe they took a heat gun and removed the decals. Maybe it was ordered by Beldar Conehead...he hated dec kals...LOL

Links to an auction are/were fair game previously, but let's watch the goal posts move. Shame tho Mccandless has to witness fabo "fun" lol. No wonder he rarely comes on here..

Thank you Mike for the heads up on this car becoming available...Nah let's bash it for not being what we think is correct even tho we weren't at the factory "on the line" the day it was built. Anyone in manufacturing knows what's being built on the line may not be built exactly to the build order. This could apply to any one of hundreds of options. Cheers to you Steve

@4spdragtop , you can post a link to an auction in the Mopar General forum with "Not mine" in the title and chat about it all you want. When a member posts a link for an auction that he is putting on, it is a sale thread. That's the way I see it and am handling it. If @Joeychgo feels different, he can handle it however he chooses.

true true true...and when I personally put them in the wrong place (more than once), Mr. Mike kindly reminds me I put them in the wrong place and moves them. Not to mention the NOT MINE.

There's been auction links before from sellers and been "discussions".
Oh the fun n games.
Im sure Mike McCandless is enjoying this thread lol.

I agree. The car should be advertised for sale "HERE" with a posted price. What do the rules say about posting links to outside auctions? Do the rules even address that? We all know who Mr. McCandless is, but does that allow him to skate the rules? If so, then why even have rules? It's a conundrum for sure.

The pic of blue scoops(not sellers car)."those aren't blue that's rust" lmao....
Cheers to you as well Jeff
That whole argument was stupid. I know Jim personally. If he says they dragged that car out and it was original like that, you can bet it was. He owns an original 68 Hemi Dart. I think he knows what original means. lol

I dont think he's "skating" rules. He posted a link,l to an auction. Just so happens that he is also the owner of AUCTION, NOT the car. This could've been "fixed" in 30 seconds lol.

I'm too lazy to read the rules. I didn't know if they addressed it or not.
