I have a Demon 340 with the mopar Performance air cleaner. The heavy aluminum one black with aluminum ribs . Well the air filter measures 12.5" x 11" x 2.5" I went to local auto parts store with filter in hand. I'm told they can't match it up unless I can tell them what it fits. The one for the stock 340 is to big. Does anyone have the part # ( Fram, Wix ect ) for this filter??

Thanks in advance!

Tom

I would assume that Mopar is the only place you'll find an element for that. Check at a dealer. Hopefully it has not been discontinued.

Your so called parts guys are idiots. All filter manufacturers, "someplace" have a pictorial and size guide. I have not looked lately, they might even be online. In a previous life, when I sold parts, we did this a LOT on aftermarket and obsolete filters or engine swaps. "Up here" used to be a lot of swaps into old Willys, logging "jammers" anything you can imagine.

If this link works, this is the Fram size catalog

framcatalog.com/RelatedInfo.aspx?b=F&f=FRAM/FPR2012.pdf

I could not find Wix

This is all I could find:
K&N;
12.50"x 11.00"x 2.13" E-3021.
Fram;
12.36"x 10.81"x 2.64" CA325
12.59"x 8.30"x 5.5" CA3325
12.59"x 9.80"x 5.5" CA3324
WIX;
12.34"x 10.84"x 2.58" 42099

I can get the part number off a fram one in the morning.

Crap, the one on mine is 3.5" tall but the diameter is correct.
Fram # CA-127 I think, very hard to read, the numbers are not very clear.
