A friend of mine, uses air shocks, to help with tire clearance. He asked me if they alter the pinion angle. I had no idea, so thought I'd check here.
He has a 73 Duster.
Thanks

Air shocksbare bad, old school and should not be used. They are a band aid at best. They end up supporting the vehicle weight on the upper and lower shock mounts which are not intended for this. Just do it the right way and have your leaf springs rebuilt and re arched, or replace them. And yes, to answer your question they will likely cause the pinion angle to point up to the floor.
