Hi everyone,

I know here's a few folks in Alberta on here and I've been struggling to find info. If there is a restriction or law on a blower or hood scoop above the hood line.

I've been planning a blower build for some time and can't find anything solid for restrictions. I've got $ into this project but nothing like what is coming for the engine rebuild. Many places like Ontario and bc have been cracking down hard and i don't want to get into that boat.

Any info would be much appreciated. From my measurements I'm expecting to be approx. 22" height from intake base to scoop top.

Thanks

I just went through the regs as well.
No mention of hood scoops etc.
It used to be that when i used to live in B.C. 15 years ago, you had to see the outside tip of the right front fender from the driver's seat, but now, i don't know.
I hope this helps..........

waiting on a call back from local peace officers. Government says it all on officer discretion. Makes me nervous. I would have about 10" sticking above the hoodline so I suspect ill run into problems. Nothing like killing a dream lol
