Great system. Hardest part was getting the pin out of the steering shaft. Excellent for street duty as it came. For street/drag cars it took some tuning but Bill was great about that. We exchanged springs and shocks. Anything learned goes into the newer systems.ProStreetDuster said:That's a nice setup, Was it hard to install Walter?? Any problems you came across.
Small tires on back (28x13.5 MT ET Streets) before wheel opening opened up:THEWHITEZOMBIE said:BBLM23 do u have any pics of your car on flat ground?
Big tires (30x13.5 MT Et Streets) wheel opening enlarged at front 1.5" This was the first set of Caltrac Mono rear springs. I switched to a 1" lower spring a week later:THEWHITEZOMBIE said:BBLM23 do u have any pics of your car on flat ground?
Yes, it has rack and pinion steering. It feels very solid. It feels tighter and more stable than my old 340 Swinger with the sway bar installed. The 8* of caster is nice too.HawaiiDuster said:Sorry Walter I forgot you put that in your car. Are you running a rack and pinion steering system in it? If you are how does it feel?
