AMD Dart wheelhouse will it fit convertables?

I want to change the inner and outer wheelhouse (quarter panel wheel-wells) from auto metal direct on my 68 dart convertible. I know they are not the same as the hardtop version but I want to know if I cut about the top 1/4 will it fit? That looks like what they did for the factory fit. If anyone has tried this let me know.

The inner's probably won't as the originals have a dented area where part of the top goes when its down. Outers should be the same. You will have to cut the tops off the AMD's and fit your original well tops on...but you prolly already knew that.
