Amish/ Edenpure magic heater horse doo-doo

Well evidently it's "that time of year" once again as I scrolled aimlessly through the TV channels looking for intelligent life, once again, we come across Bob Vila lying to us about how magic and money saving the Edenpure heater is,

might as well be the "hand built by Amish craftsman" whatever-that-thing-is-called

Guys, don't fall for this BS. There is no such thing as a magic electric heater. ALL electric heaters are within a fraction of the same efficiency, and produce the very same amount of actual heat output (BTUs if you will) for the same amount of power (wattage) at the "in" end.

You can buy the same very same effective heater at the hardware store for about 1/10 of what these guys are paying Bob Vila to lie to you.

I do not understand why someone cannot sue them. Oh, I forgot, the politicians all lie, why not the retailers?

They told me NEVER TO CALL THEIR LINE AGAIN.

I star 67'ed them and used a fake Chineese voice. I told them that I did not want the mantle, but send me the free heater. They said that they do not ship to China, only the US and Canada. I told them that was discrimination. They kept telling me that I had to buy the mantle. I said the mantle was too expensive and just to send me the free heater.

They put me on hold for a couple minutes. Then said that they traced the call and for me not to call them again. They couldn't trace it, I used star 67 before I dialed. It was fun hassling them.

Yeah, electric heat is the MOST EXPENSIVE way to heat your house. You can get a Holmes or Sunbeam space heater at Walmart or Kmart for $30 that will do the same thing.

It is fun to call the 800 numbers on TV and challenge their false sales claims...

I've also called the ASPCA line and told them that I wanted to adopt the mistreated skinny dalmatian in their commercial and they wouldn't tell me how to do it. They just wanted a money donation. I said that I would give the dog a great home and that is THEIR GOAL. They just told me to go to my local humane society if I wanted to adopt a dog. I said that I am trying to help you by adopting one. They were just interested in getting money...

Getting heat from electricity is a mathmatical formula there is no way around it.
