Ammeter/Voltmeter Gauge Conversion

I read in a thread not long ago where a member bypassed the ammeter & sent his old ammeter in for conversion to a voltage gauge (incl. new markings)
I haven't been able to find this thread again.Who does this gauge conversion?

Sounds like a good idea. I just bypassed the ammeter and added an aftermarket voltmeter in a gauge pod which leaves a dead gauge in the dash.

I sent mine to Redline Gauge Works. They left the face so it still looks like an ammeter while running, but when key is off it goes to the far left.
