Amp meter pegged

Instead of the link showing as URL or snippet, it shows the entire post. I find it very hard to read the person's post when there are one or more posts showing within it.
My view is that the reason for supplying a link is a reference for those who want to go read more.
In contrast to incorporate something in to a post, thats what cutting and pasting is for.
Just my perspective as a user.

I mentioned it in the website thread so figured you were aware of this new quirk.

???

Yes. That's how it should be!
When I copy a URL for a post it throws "embed" code on it. It looks like this on my computer

The embed code is visible when clicking edit.

I can then manually delete Embed content="post..... and type in URL /URL

Always bypass the amp gauge in an old car. Always.
I am just about sick of this tripe.

If the OP hadn't had the ammeter he wouldn't have know the system had issues. Even adding a voltmeter, which I always do, would not have revealed an issue until the battery was seriously overcharged - in this matter it's like an idiot light that tells you that you are screwed, too late. As it is the ammeter immediately showed an issue and allowed the OP to find the issue and correct it. Yeah the original ammeter was never made to last 50 years, probably not 20. If you are concerned unhook the original, leave it in place and install a modern high quality ammeter under the dash and hook the wires to it. We at FABO are, in general, folks that monitor and repair our vehicles. Never bypass a critical diagnostic tool when it might save your bacon.
