Okay, let me start off by saying that I'm very new to A-bodies and cars in genberal, as i am a young kid. I have this 70 dart swinger which is all performance relative to looks. it is primer black with rust climbing up the quarters. 360 LA (not sure of production year) with a holley 750 into an eddy 318/360 intake, 8 3/4 rear end in back. now to my point. I was wondering if i cut a couple 4 inch holes in the hood, under the dual hood scoops, if i could almost make a ram-air-esque system with some dryer vent duct hoses and a couple little air filters. the duct hoses would join together in a y joint above the carb. of course the 4 inch hole in the hood could be plugged with rubber in the rain :D. Just an idea that ran through my head, feedback would be appreciated, thanks for viewing/reading!

I would not do it that way. From your description you are likely to create quite an obstruction.

If you want cold air, through the scoops, do it the way the factory did the "Coyote Duster" or "Air Grabber." That is fabricate a pan under your filter, and fabricate what you need to snug it up to the hood, a member on here has a good primo example, "OldManMopar"

There's plenty of 'xamples if you search

Thank you for the input, will look into it:thumbrig:

At least one member on here did with a ducted filter similar to the old Olds cold air system on the 442 stuff
