My wife and I had a conference call with both our financial advisor and attorney yesterday, and while I haven't counted the days out (yet!), it looks like I'll be "officially" retiring right around Memorial Day of next year!

Looks like I may be driving to Indiana soon to pick-up yet another one, just for the A/C, as the seller doesn't want to part it out. I have NO TIME to do this right now, but the A/C actually works in his truck(!), so I'm negotiating with him now on it. We'll see.

I just printed-off the monthly calendars between now and then, and once we nail down an exact date (this evening?), I'll start numbering-off the days!

I'm odd man out,I like that song. Congratulations on the pending Retirement . I retired 15 years ago at age 60 and have never regretted it.

And I didn’t mean to cast any dispersions about that tune. As a “recovering audiophile” I learned years ago that musical tastes vary, much as it does for food. I don’t care for broccoli (or most green veggies, for that matter), but I know a lot of people (my wife, for one) find them quite tasty.
