I'm building 1968 340 factory crank and rods speed pro pistons L2316 10.5 to 1 compression going to use after market heads. Ive narrowed my cam down to 2 both are crowers. cam 1 crower 31321 int/[email protected] lift 243/245 r.r 1.5/1.5 gross lift .521/.528 lsa 112 cam 2 31320 int/exh due@ .050 lift 229/229 r.r. 1.5/1.5 gross lift 446/456 lsa 112 This motor will be a weekend warrior mostly drive on the street. Both cams are solid lifter and I've just gotta use crower

Your cam choices are far apart. From a warmed up street cam to a hot street cam.
Considering your comp ratio, I'd use the bigger (1st) cam.

You also do not give a whole lot of information

The 1st one.
it looks close to the mopar perf solid.Several years ago built a 340 11-1 with x heads used a 232/242 112 hyd and a 292 508 108 hyd the 112 was faster .

31320. I would like to see Intake Opening BTDC a nd Exhaust Closing ATDC to see what that LSA does to Overlap before I give it a complete thumbs up.

Good engine parts choice, gear and trans = FUN!

Wake up to yourself and give the old Crower off the shelf designs a miss. Give Mike Jones at Jones Racing Cams a call and get the right custom grind for your application.
