hey now.... new frame rails...... that rust issue is gone... what the hell. whats the hold back now... so fixing the rust makes it worth less? or worthless... nice thanks tim
That was kind of my point.
So easy and not a big deal to fix, then it should have been already, but you could be totally on the nose about it and he could sell it for that.
The ex BB part and being cut for it would be a downer for me, but it isn't about me is it?
I've seen so many of those flex hoses I get the idea that most people wouldn't think it's a problem that needs fixing. More like a plus- new radiator hoses! :violent1:
Same with the fuel filter. You and I might see that as a problem that needs fixing, but not everyone would even realize it's a problem, or will be down the road at some point.
Based on the fenderwell header cut outs, and the fact that someone seems to remember seeing this car for sale awhile back as a roller, I would guess that the owner raced this thing with a BB and either blew up the BB or decided to keep it. After it didn't sell as a roller he stabbed the original engine back in it to see if it would attract more interest as a runner. Hence, new hoses and lines done on the cheap. Just my guess though.
