Do what? Lol, I wanted to do a mechanical pump, but even the magnumswap guy said not to. The cam snout extension apperently dosent work the best.
 
The cam extension doesn't "work the best"??? My first magnum swap was 10 years ago in my daily driver work truck, and it's still running fine with the mechanical pump, as are the 5 other ones we have swapped since then. maybe I got lucky...
 
If your pump gas is like we have here = 10% ethanol - I would not use aluminum tubing. keep it simple. Carter electric street pump needs no regulator or bypass for around $65.00. works for me for decades. 5/16" is no problem
 
I didnt think the ethanol would be bad for the aluminum? I can get it without, but not always. Havent started on the project yet. My dad has a b body sending unit that either 3/8 or 1/2 line. Was wondering if it would fit? I only wanna run the holley pump and bigger line because I do plan on hitting the motor with a 150 shot of nitrous.
