Another small block turbo early valiant

-
Not a lot has changed, it runs and drives! I ditched the Fitech and am waiting on a CSU carb to get it dialed in. During the 12 week wait I have had a fellow Mopar enthusiast bring his mobile alignment setup and get the suspension all aligned, and finally deciding to do something with the interior! I ran into another member here Matto and got the opportunity to take a look at his sweet valiant and I’m thinking I need to get an AAR style hood as long as I can clear everything with the setup.

I suppose it’s time for a little update, been working on getting the interior cleaned up a bit. We’ve been on a few test drives, getting read for its first show in ten years. Finally got tired of the 4 speed hump, cut it out and went back with the standard floor. Things are looking much better.

Oh also had some door panels made up, will end up being painted with the brushed inserts to look like the originals.

Those door panels look great. Did you build them or have them built?

That looks awesome!! Where'd you get that shifter mount bracket?

Sooo…. Here’s an update I don’t think you’ll see coming. I know, I really didn’t either. I think I’m moving onto a gen3 hemi, I’d like to sell the whole engine/turbo setup. This will include everything as it is now complete and running from the transmission forward carb hat to oil pan. Coil, catch can, radiator, fans, everything. Everything to bolt it to your transmission and go. You may ask, why are you ditching this setup? Well I want to take this car further then the current setup will provide reliably. I plan on building the hemi to take boost and breaking the 1000hp mark. Looking to get $12k for the whole setup, as you can see on the spreadsheet I compiled I’ve got a bit more into it than that. Pm me if your serious and want to discuss details.

You’re correct. I didn’t see that coming. Good luck with the sale. I think for your power goals you’ll be years (and $$$) ahead going with a g3.

Good luck with the sale. That engine and turbo setup is immaculate clean. I’m dying to do a Gen3 swap also (I have a 6.4 sitting in the garage) but can’t bring myself to spend the money on the biggest barrier of entry, the front suspension. You’re more than half way there with the Gerst. Can’t wait to join you though.

Well ****, that’s exactly what I’m looking for! How’d you come across the 6.4?

It’s just the block (non BGE older SRT), heads and cam. I found it on Facebook market place.
Nice! I’ve seen a few people modify the factory k frame to clear, I guess steering would be the next hurdle.
