I'm looking for a video program. I have a chromebook with Chrome OS. What I'm looking for is a video program that can record in split screen. Say if I wanna play rhythm on my 12 string, then back it up with some mandolin and maybe a third part with some slide guitar. An app for my smart phone would work too. And of course it helps if a borderline moron can operate it. Thank you drive through.

I don’t have first hand experience using it but “Open Shot” seems to be highly recommended and it’s free in the chrome web store. Should be able to accomplish what you’re looking to do.

AI says check these ones out,
  • WeVideo
  • Kapwing
  • Clipchamp
  • KineMaster
  • Adobe Premiere Rush

Ive seen em online, perhaps they say it in the YouTube description of comments?

These are the two that come to mind

If you are even thinking of doing this, you know more than me, LOL

I've used Capcut for making training videos. Its a popular program for social media and the kids use it on their smartphones. I'm not sure if you can properly sync audio and video in split screen with it though. I learned to use it pretty quickly on the desktop but its not dead simple.
