I have a chance to get a NOS front bumper for my Demon.
The chrome on the one I have is hurting in a couple of spots.

Can anybody tell me what it might be worth?

Find out what it will cost to have yours redone, and that should at least give you a starting point. Personally, I NEVER make the first offer on anything, but let the seller set the initial price then wrangle from there. I'm always afraid if I make the initial offer I'll either end up screwing myself if I bid too high, or piss off the seller if I really low-ball it compared to what he really wants.

no more than it would cost to get yours redone/replated. actually if anything it shlould be LESS :) . Im assuming around the $300-350 mark was a decent price for plating a set of bumpers but that was a few years ago..thats what i paid for the RoadRunners bumpers.

Call a bumper plating place say how much to redo just the front bumper on a Demon get 3 estimates...lets just say that one of the estimates is $300 for a nice round number....how could someone elses NOS bumper be worth MORE than that? Your negotiation price is now set...anyone that would pay much more than that would have to be nuts. Becuase why WOULD you pay more than you could get your own bumper plated for :). if he says $350 say no thanks I can get MY OWN one redone for $300...if he lowers it to $300 and its in GREAT shape..cause you know what you get back from the platers will probably be NICER than his NOS bumper it would be your call...at least you would save the shipping(which really was not that much and even less if you take it to a sow and pick it back up at a show...I dropped mine off at Spring Carlisle and picked it back up at the Mopar show at Carlisle to save the shipping)

You guy's are going to love this. There is only one place near here that does bumper plating and they want $600.
I seams they can charge whatever they want and thier attitude shows it.
It is kind of take it or leave it.
