I have scored a set of 73 340 heads casting #3671587 with 1.88 intakes. What are the differences if any over 360 LA heads?
Any advantage to 73 340 heads over 360 heads?

Sure enough. They could be 360 heads.
Best flowing "as cast" head castings of the 73 up heads with hardened exhaust seats untill 308 castings. Check for cracks...

What do they flow?
the 1.88 915's I had flowed did [email protected] w/25in depression or 197.8@28in depression 'as cast' with all the sharp edges in the bowl n such.

Boy the crack thing is true, one of my heads on my 74 360 had a crack in it, in one of the intake bowls, if I am remembering correctly, had to toss it and get another out of a boneyard. the machine shop only charged be $50.00 for the boneyard head.
