Any Harley Riders?

I like to ride.
Hardtail chopper. 80” EVO, 5 speed kick start, 3” BDL belt drive , jockey shift, and suicide clutch. It gets ridden more than a lot of baggers do.

I think they sell a kit now to hard tail your the sportsters. @SSG_Karg might of did it custom by himself back in the day.
Oh for sure. Just like Schumacher motor mounts. Putting small block motor mounts on a slant six K-frame for example. We used to remove the rear shocks and install solid bars of flat steel and lower the rear fender to a fraction of an inch from the rear tire. Cheap modification. $$ no money back then. No suspension after that. This was not a very good idea but we got the look we were after. Kinda dangerous but young, dumb and full of &%#*. Not the same strict regulations back then.

Nice chopper, curious if it's a aftermarket frame and or engine cases ? Either way sweet ride.
Aftermarket Santee frame, 6” over DNA springer, factory Harley crate motor with some work done to it. S&S super E carb, Andrews cam, Dyna 2000 ignition. Put it together in 2004.

My 16 Wideglide. 1st real bike i own. Never could really afford a bike cause I always had a bunch of Mopars

Sounds like a sweet build. I've used the same carb on my last Evo and couldn't have been happier. Again nice scoot.

I have a 98 Sportster 1200c.
Don't know what was done to it but I know my brother in law (RIP) had some work done to it. Wish I knew.... Other than the S+S carb (hey it's marked) I don't know what else he ever did to it, he got it in 01 and passed in 18. My son had it a couple of years, I've had it since. I've had it about 4 years and have put about 10k on it so far.
It's been buried in the garage fo a bit as Ive had some construction going on around the house this year, and haven't been able to get it out. In fact they just finished my new asphalt job on my driveway a few hours ago, so I can get at it and get it out again. It needs a bath badly. And some of the chrome is peeling on the case. 34k original miles so far on it and counting
