Our first set of parts on a hi-end restomod project were fine, so provided a 2nd group of parts and everything went upside-down. Became totally non-communicative, hid from calls and texts, and was passive-aggressive. Took involving local police to finally illicit a response and get parts back after stating the work was done 5 weeks prior and to come pick them up the following week. This is after holding some parts for 6 months and other parts for 3 months. In the end, he had not even begun the work!!! You will be lied to and led-on with no remorse. Learned in the middle of the ordeal that another car club member ran into the same issues and will not use him any longer either.

After posting this on YELP and GOOGLE, I recieved an InMail asking me to call another victim who gave the business $5000 of vintage Harley parts and wanted to know how I got my parts back, after recieving he same treatment. Please take this seriously and spread the word to others in the region to go elsewhere.

Spoke to Don several times ... I judge people by the content of their character and nothing else (e/g/ socioeconomic standing/background don't matter to me). That said, his original behavior during the first set of work and dropping off the second batch over 6months after were fine ... albeit he has a foul mouth that would make a sailor blush. We actually dropped the second batch at his home, which was below the Stanford & Son TV set standard, and a bit concerning. I did see evidence of marijuana usage there, but I've known people who consume that stuff and are still professionally able to operate during the day. Regardless, I could only speculate what has caused his demise, and regardless of cause, simply want others to avoid my plight.

BTW, I have found a great source for metal repair work and plating in Oregon City. The kid's father had the largest plating business in the state until the State of OR pulled their license (liberal/environmental policies), so he figured out how to do refurbishing/repair work and polishing onsite, and make runs over to a plating business just over the Idaho border to drop-off and pick-up what he left 30days prior -- Star Bright Finishes | Kevin Vanderstar | 503-657-0533
