I found my 74 Duster back in the 80s in the garage of a friend of a friend.

It was missing the hood and front bumper.

For the past 30 years it's had a flat styrene sheet for a hood with a 64 super stock scoop cut down to resemble a Demon scoop and a Dart Sport bumper.

Last year I FINALLY found a resin hood and bumper !!!!

Have an F4 Phantom I was working on. Life got in the way. Not kids or anything like that, just other stuff. Picked up a B1 that was 50% off. Still have all the parts for that. I he Phantom lost the gear....so will have to figure out what to do with that. I used a paasche brush to paint it.

I recently picked up an F-104 Starfighter at a model show for 3 bucks. It's a Revell kit with instructions in Portuguese. This kit was marketed in Brazil.

I've got a "Hemi Under Glass" Barracuda 1/24th scale that I plan to start on once I'm done with my real car and give it to my father.

I built an F-106 with my kid and its still not finished. I bought it 8 years ago! I built a big 1:16 scale General Lee by MPC (I think) in grade school. It had cushy rubber tires and came with a little spool of spark plug wire, and had real rubber hoses. My favorite was a huge Monogram B-17G. All done as a preteen. I'd build another car now that I know that all shocks are not yellow and all exhaust manifolds are not chrome.

I built hundreds of models as a kid & my room was decorated with shelves on every square inch of the wall to display them. I still have boxes full of them in the attic of my garage. Most are all busted up now since that I moved 3 times since I was a kid. I do still have about 30-40 in the "Racement" (Race themed) basement that have not been built yet that I have had for 20-30 years. LOL. My kids always get me the 1:18 diecast cars also for Father Day, Christmas & Birthday's etc. So I have those on display also.

Had fun with a Rat rod Roadster build recently. Went with a pro charged Hudson Twin H for power. 27628781_10213975023003799_3447732376769908093_o.jpg 20180220_110706.jpg 20180220_110818.jpg 20180223_123710.jpg 20180223_123820.jpg

Thats the big Dukes model I built! I think I painted mine blue because that's what was in the badger air gun at the time. It was in an elective model building class and the teacher insisted that he had to paint all the cars with his little Badger spray gun outfit. It came out very nice

F'n A right that's the same one! With the AIR-2 (MB-1) Genie air-to-air baby nuke bomber formation buster rocket! Although yours looks real, ours never got the wings glued on. The pic on the box was it taking off from an unimproved runway with a control tower in the background?

The Delta Dart! Nice pic! It's been so long I can't recall what the box looked like. Ever since I saw the squadron of Mass. ANG F-106s at the Otis Air National Guard Base (Cape Cod), I have loved this aircraft. Sadly, in 1988, shortly after I got to see them the planes were retired. They are just beautiful jets.

Here are the models I've done so far since surgery (about 3 months).

The aircraft are deliberately in pairs, 2 on the left and 2 on the right. Can you tell what they are and the significance of the the pairing?

In front is a 1/48 scale Panzer III tank. It's the same scale as the planes. I was surprised at how small it actually is considering the real one weight somewhere in the vicinity of 30-35 tons.

Also in front is a 1/700 scale submarine that represents my silly streak. Technically, it's the USS Baleo. Can you guess where the idea of a pink submarine would come from?

Left is Pacific theater, right is European, one of each allied/axis.

Correct! The right are more specific in they are from the Battle of Britain. The left is pretty much just as you said - pacific theater adversaries.

...and I have tested the theory in your sig on motorcycles.

It is less of an issue but still holds true...with one variance-

if you are to the right of the bike, the item could roll to the left side, just out of arm's reach, or vise versa.

Here are my A body Barracuda kits and promos. Many of the kits I built years ago. About 3 years ago I built a few more that I had sitting around. The convertibles were cut down from fastbacks. The 69 coupe was a resin model completed with fastback kit parts. The 68's were built swap meet finds that I stripped, disassembled, repainted and rebuilt. The blue and red 68 fastbacks pictured with the 68 Charger are promo models as is the blue 65 Barracuda. cuda kits 68 69.jpg valiant cuda 65 models.jpg cuda kits 68 5.jpg cuda charger 68 promos.jpg cuda kits 68.jpg cuda kits 69 6.jpg cuda kits 69 2.jpg cuda kits 69 3.jpg cuda kits 69 9.jpg
