I know I'm right....
I need a cheap AF kit lens for an F50 AF 35mm fiim camera. My mom refuses to get into the digital age ("you cant lose print"...she is right!) so I thought I would get her her last camera she'll ever need. A 35mm SLR that does everything for her, auto focus, rewind, exposure program, etc. but it came with an obnoxious 28-80 macro zoom lens that makes it too big for her purse and a little intimidating to use. Was looking for an inexpensive 28 or 50mm lens, short and simple. It takes Nikkor AF or Sigma or Tamron or even Quantaray, so as long as it has the little screwdriver head autofocus coupler dealy in the mount and the electronic contacts. Usually the kit lenses that come with the Nikons/Fuji digital SLR's are set aside for the serious glass so maybe there are some out there. Looking around $50-60 so no $300 VR pancake lens offers please. Like maybe an AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D Autofocus Lens? Thanks!
