80% of what these guys call "commentary" is actually clarification to help buyer and seller, but egos get to them and they just can't resist lol. At my age I should be glad to be on somebody's list lol.

I would say we are down to a "WHOM" now.
Like when someone posts 'commentary' on someone's ad that tells them the parts in their ad is junk etc etc etc????

Nope, not at all. Im referring to helpful insight. What years stuff fits etc. 67-9 cuda gauges fits MORE than 2nd gen cudas lol, BUT not everyone knows that...or in this case a 68 barracuda thumbwheel radio lol. Nice try

Yep for clarification on thumbwheel, what years it fit etc. Apparently there is a "list" being passed around. 
Fair enough, but sometimes people post wrong helpful information. Then the arguments start. Best to PM the
OP and let them modify their add.
Too many times the 'helpful' commentary turns into a slug fest and also invites posts that are not helpful. We don't mind one or two posts that are....really helpful but when it turns into other than that....nope. Likewise, nice try to you too.
I wrote out my post and then had to do something for the wife and didn't see yours until after I hit the go button when I sat back down at the puter....oh well.

You don't see ALL the reports on threads the mods see, and address daily.

Unless we look it up ourselves, (who has time for that) who's to say the info you post about fit and application is correct. That's another reason for the no comment rule. Your comment is also a bump which is also against the sale rules. I really wish comments could be shut off on all ads. Guys have mentioned other sites do that and there's no issues. If you have a question, ask the seller in a PM.
Moparts is that way.....but haven't been there in pretty long time so don't know if it still is.

I agree with Cranky. Call them out. Ha,ha. But maybe, if you post an ad, make it so only comments are pm's. If i post a want ad, I might get 2 responses and might get 10. "i got it" "so do I".
We give some latitude to wanted threads. Like you say, it's funny when people say "i've got one of those" and no photo price or anything. Or how about "PM me". No, don't be so lazy and PM him.
Well, I've gotten to where unless someone acts like they're really interested, I'm not diggin out chit for a picture collector. I have a couple of things a guy's interested in right now. He's luke warm wanting pictures. Of a water pump pulley. I'm not diggin through my pile just to have him change his mind or not even reply back. I mean seriously, look at my post count and feedback. You think I'm here to rip people off? I rarely sell anything anyway. It'd suit the heck outta me if I just kept everything. lol
Here's what I experience alot on Wanted adds. I try to send a PM and their box is full . So I either post to PM me or I have that !. So they will PM me.
If someone already offered up most time I skate right on past or send a PM.
