anybody have a 727 tranny handbook

I would like to know what year 727 smallblock tranny I traded for. I swapped a new rebuilt 727 for a used 904 from my Duster. The number is PK 3898866 5437 5009. I am curious what what this is out of. If anyone can help me find out it would be appreciated.

why should I have kept the 904. . Is this a personal preference or is the 904 better. I have another one. i would like to hear about it. I thought a 727 was abeefed up 904. I know the 727 is a lot heavier than the 904.
