got the numbers from the tail shaft and case cant find the info on the trans any body know?
tail shaft: A c89126-3
case 6-99129m

im prety certain that it is an abody trans it has the short tail shaft, just tryn to figure out the year

Those casting numbers are pretty much useless in trying to identify an 833.

Is the shift mount pad in front of or behind the trans mount pad ? One shift mount pads or 2 ? Behind and one is A body , 2 is B/E , in front of and 1 is 69 down B body.

To figure out the year look on the pass side of the trans , there is a machined pad if it's 68 and newer that will tell you when it was built and what year car it was installed in.
 
Post some photos and we'll probably tell you more than you want to know!

sorry bout the long delay guys but here are some the numbers, this one was a stamping on the case pp832-5039, this is a casting c-99129, i forgot were this one was but its c89126-3, and the last set of number was too faded to read
