As the mods say, beware of new members that use a different platform for a sale, ie email instead of private message

Not saying he's/she's legit. Just email them. The email address may require a dot (.) and not the word dot. Many do that to avoid bots and scams.

Why would you do that?

Why not keep the conversation that started on FABO, ON FABO?

Sending to that address might put your email on a spam/scam list if the user is not legit.

That's actually another flag that it's a scam- trying to move the conversation.

They can respond here just as easy.

lol, it's not for me to decide. I have no interest in what he's selling. Do you?

No but bad advice to email a potential scammer is in everyone's interest.

I don't want to drag this out but you said- "just email them".

That sounds like advice rather than opinion.

The poster claimed to be from NY, that's enough for me not to trust him.

:poke::rofl:

JUST HAVING SOME FUN AT THE EXPENCE OF OUR NY BROTHERS AND SISTERS.

IF HIS LOCATION HAD SAID COLORADO I WOULD HAVE SAID THE SAME THING.

Don't ever send an email to an email like that to just check and see if they might be legit. All you're doing is opening yourself up to monetary and identity theft.

There is no person behind that post and there is no part. Just a bot and a virus/phishing scam that you only fall for if you're naive enough to miss the half dozen red flags in the post and continue on with your curiosity by emailing them.

He's probably sellin hot Russian wives, too.

I sent an email mail and now my cars warranty is expired.

Dang it.. I better call back tomorrow and pay it.
