I keep getting a pop up warning with the McAffee logo saying something like, "The site you just visited is infected and not safe. Run the virus detection to protect your computer."
Now I KNOW that a lot of hackers use fishing tricks like that to trick people into logging on to their website so they can get into your computer, and I never go down that path. However, I do have McAffee, so it makes me wonder. Plus, it ONLY happens on FABO. That seems very strange to me.

Yup. I've been getting them for about 3 weeks. There was another thread on it but nothing really came of it.

I was also getting that McAffee pop up, only while here on FABO. I don’t have McAfee on my desk top so I knew it was a scam. For what ever reason it has stopped popping up for the past week.

Probably not McAfee..is it even spelled McAfee? IMHO, these are not even needed in Win10 as its built in. Intel bought it in 2010 so you know they used some of the garnered tech to make their chipsets more secure on the hardware level.

I get spam pop ups constantly when I come here. This is the only site it happens on.

Actually I don't get any adds at all.
I just have to keep logging back in after almost every post.
