There is hiking at Camelback Mountain not far. Maybe 30 min or so.

Blue Wasabi...sushi/martini bar with great reviews.

About 3hrs south east is Tombstone. I love the history of the dirt Allen street. Ok Corall, Boot Hill cemetery, etc.

Bush Highway. Isn't far. Great sight seeing.

Hey 17 north to Sedona. Red Rock country is beautiful

Ya, Sedona is cool. If diving that far check out Jerome, Montezuma's well...

I really like the True Foods restaurant. If you were there for a Saturday afternoon or evening free do not miss the pavilions at talking stick show n shine. I like hiking at the McDowell Sonoran preserve up in Scottsdale.
