anyone install abody duster console carpet before?

got mine from trim parts. it is a pre cut piece one yard in length. However, i am having a hard time getting it to fit. one side is longer. is that drivers side??? are you supposed to cut it into pieces?? a picture of one installed closeup would really help if anyone could take a pic. thanks!

The console skirt is cut bias so it wraps around the corners of the console. The longer side is the drivers side.
