Anyone Know What This Is?

I found this part with a 70 Swinger I purchased. Does anyone know what the heck it is. My buddy and I are stumped.

Its a Master Cylinder/Brake Booster Alignment/Spacer.

Thanks Prine. I never had a power brake car. Any small stuff you need for your car?

I think the real purpose of that part is:

It is a intermediate gasket between the Master Cylinder and Brake Booster.....so that if the master cylinder piston starts leaking....brake fluid drips off the lip of that gasket and "Does Not" get into the rubber diaphram area of the Vacuum Booster.

I am good on rare parts.....I need door and trunk weatherstriping and a Windshield for the Duster though......or 73/74 "DART" Sport emblems

Think there was a piece of foam that sits in it as well. Believe it was for the early dual diaphram boosters.

yep....but no foam gasket was shown in the pic.
