what is the exact difference in length between the manual and power steering shafts for a 75 Duster....looks like about 3 to 3-1/2".

Thanks,
Denny

For what it's worth, that's roughly what the difference was in my 74 dart, yes I know you said Duster. Just throwing that out there:thumbsup:

Thanks, they would be the same. I was thinking of lengthening the power shaft I have, but maybe I will just find /buy a manual shaft

Is a Duster manual shaft the same no matter what type column? I have a 70 manual steering column that is a 3 on the tree configuration, and have no plans to use it. If it will work, let me know!

The measurements I have written down have the manual steering shaft at 40 5/8" and the power at 37.5". So yeah, 3-1/8" or so. I can't remember if that was with the coupler or not, but the measurements would have been with the coupler in the same position if it was.

Thanks for the info and the offer ....and the Flash thanks you too.
