Found it on CL, wondering if anyone has seen this before, or if anyone saw it race ever?

"Here we have for sale is a 2 door 1965 Plymouth Barracuda! This is a first generation Barracuda (fastback A-body coupe) that has the distinctive wraparound glass. This is also an ex dragcar. Original color was white with gold stripes. 4 speed, V8, 273. It does have rusty floor plans and a rusty trunk pan. This would be a great vehicle to have for parts and/or to restore and make 'like new!' Asking $1400"

Never seen or heard of it before, but that would make a cool vintage racer. Hood looks buckled, I wonder if the front end is wiped out.

Wow, now that is cool!!! I would love to fix the floors and get it running and driving, leaving the exterior "as is" worth every penny IMO!!!!

I bet the hinges are tight or hood is rusted, common to have them fold over like that if rust is an issue....

That thing has been for sale for months. I live about 60 miles away, and haven't bothered to go look at it. It was a race car at Greer Dragway, Spartanburg Dragway, and maybe a few others waaaaaay back in the day. I remember seeing it at Greer in the mid to late 70's. Kind of a dog, never was fast at all.

Has a cutout on the rear valance so it was a Commando or an S car. I hope someone saves it!

I wonder if that car was affiliated with South of the Border out on I-95.
