Anyone tried 73 up rotors on 72 spindles??

I am curretnly running the kelsey hayes 4 piston set up on my Duster. Has anyone tried to put 73 up 5x4.5 rotors onto a kelsey hayes set up? Wondering if they could be made to fit and line up with the calipers to convert to 5x4.5?
 
Wont work . KH rotor diameter is smaller. 73 rotor wont fit in/under the caliper. Bearings are different diameters too.
 
Is it possible to have a machine shop cut them down to the proper diameter and replace the bearings to make it work? I and wondering if it was cut down and different bearings used you could make them work and line up under the calipers. Probably been tried before, I'm thinking.
 
No bearings that are known to work properly, hat offset is different, etc. There are a bunch of issues with trying this.

There have been people try to put 65-68 Mustang rotors on the KH spindles. Quite a bit of machining, IIRC.
